Phone:

Description:

Known as the most popular course at Sandestin for many years, Baytowne Golf Club now brings a fresh face to its familiar layout. Extensively renovated in the summer of 2005 by original course architect Tom Jackson, this course, twice hailed by Golf Digest’s Places to Play with 4 ½ Stars, is even more exciting. Located on the tropical paradise of Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, between the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and the banks of the Choctawhatchee Bay, Baytowne Golf Club embodies exhilarating resort golf. With a course routing that takes guests from the beach to the bay, and boasts some of the only elevation change in the area, Baytowne Golf Club is as forgiving from the forward tees as it is challenging from the championship ones.

Located just off of Northwest Florida's Scenic Highway 30A, there is a water and sand experience of a different sort at the Tom Fazio-designed Camp Creek Golf Club. This private golf course is master-planned for 36 holes, the first 18 of which opened for play in May 2001 along with a driving range, golf shop, and snack bar. Tom Fazio has received many honors during his thirty-some-year career (forty if you count the years apprenticing to Uncle George), but among those honors he values most are the ones he gained from his peers and the individuals who maintain golf courses. For the three years Golf Digest polled golf course architects to name the "Best Modern Day Golf Course Architect," Fazio's peers chose him. Also highly regarded by the American Association of Golf Course Superintendents, he is one of only three architects to receive their highly cherished "Old Tom Morris Award."
